Commissioner/Secretary PWD swings into action on “POONCH TODAY” report; Transfers more than 250 JEs in J&K

POONCH: Exclusively reported by “POONCH TODAY” on 16th of January 2021 that a high level mafia is working in PWD department in which hundreds of JEs are working in the same post for over five to twenty five years, Commissioner/Secretary PWD Shailendra Kumar, who is known in bureaucracy for his efficient work culture, the other day, vide order no 32 PW(R&B) of 2021 dated 22-01-2021, transferred more than 250 JEs who were enjoying posting at previous place from five to twenty five years and were deep rooted in tainted activities.
However, only six JEs of PWD were transferred from Poonch district. Similarly, many AEEs have also been enjoying posting within the district for decades. Other 15 to 17 JEs in Poonch district also need to be given new place of posting, because majority of them have been on present place of posting for many years and scripted many wrong financial activities. Civil society has appreciated the action taken by Commissioner/Secretary PWD Shailendra Kumar, who ordered large scale shifting of JEs.
