During their previous postings, they did not spare anybody and were seen bluntly targeting money through their touts. Both of them got their important postings after settling a deal with their top boss. On the other hand, the boss also projected himself as honest and professional, but when the curtains were opened, then came a true picture of his shrewd tactics of earning the money by scripting big deals through his trustworthy soldiers, who were almost behaving like “Bunty” and “Babli.” However, their styles of functioning were somewhat different; “Bunty” executed all his plans silently in his jurisdiction, while “Babli” did it openly. However, “Bunty” remained silent for some time, but behind the curtains, he was busy planning for the next assignment, and finally he got it by using a top influence. On the other hand, “Babli,” who was sidelined, was seen running from pillar to post to get another malaidaar posting, and after hectic efforts by using the influence of a senior police officer, he got a good posting. Earlier, Babli even offered a handsome favor to some top bosses in the department, but sensing trouble, the top bosses gave him the cold shoulder. A few close friends of both “Bunty” and “Babli” in the JKS range earlier advised them not to play open financial shots, but by completely ignoring their precious advice, both the officers played candidly and later were shifted from their previous malaidaar postings on charges of devious conduct. “Bunty” was completely focused on earning from mining mafia and crime cases through his subordinates, while “Babli” was a step ahead of him as he was seen touching all possible areas of earning money, sometimes forcibly including his silent involvement in the drug cases. Both the officers were highly shrewd, as they were seen building good relations with all types of whistleblowers for their onward positive projection before the top officers sitting at zonal and police headquarters levels. After their shift from their previous postings on the basis of unprincipled conduct, they tried hard to get another Malaidaar posting. Sources in the police department told “POONCH TODAY” that their immediate bosses were reluctant to give them important assignments, but under pressure from top levels, both the officers were adjusted again on important postings. Sources in the JKS range told ‘POONCHTODAY’ that on account of their unprofessional conduct, they are now under the continued surveillance of their immediate bosses, and any slight mistake on the part of ‘Bunty” and “Babli’ will land them into trouble as far as future postings are concerned.
