POONCH/JAMMU: Kashmir-based politicians and separatist forces on the direction of Pakistan have for several decades blackmailed and tortured New Delhi on one or another pretext, thereby playing a big role in destabilising the nation, particularly J&K. VIP treatment used to be given to all the anti-national forces for decades by the successive state and union governments under the so-called banner of ‘track 2 diplomacy’.

The state of affairs in J&K was so terrible that successive union governments at the centre surrendered to the anti-national separatist forces and their ecosystem, which was also present in the political and government setups to some extent in J&K. As per the contents of a high-profile book recently released by an ex-advisor of former Governor Satya Pal Malik, the men and machinery of separatist forces were very active in almost all setups, including the legislature and executive. In fact, all major government and private institutions were captured by the Hurriyat forces. A number of bureaucrats were also working for Hurriyat, and this Hurriyat used to play a big role in the postings of officers because all the political parties of Kashmir that enjoyed the power in J&K for decades used to be backed by Jamaat, which was working on the directions from across the border. Not the popular government or governor administrations, but clergy in J&K used to dominate the political and administrative machinery with open threats against the nation to satisfy their personal agenda. Even in the far-flung twin border districts of Poonch-Rajouri and the Chenab Valley, nationalist sentiments were crushed heavily, and clergy used to dominate every affair of the government and district administrations. The officers of police and civil administration were seen as so helpless that they were forced to dance to the tunes of the Kashmir-based ideology. Those forces that supported the terror industry secretly were seen projecting themselves as educationists, religious heads, political persons, media influencers, civil society members, self-proclaimed human rights forces, and NGOs to dodge the nation by playing double roles. They were the same forces who took out processions in favour of the famous terrorist of Kashmir who was killed by the security forces in July 2016. These forces gave an open call to shut down the markets by saying that the security forces had killed their man, but after the abrogation of temporary articles 370 and 35-A, things started improving in J&K from a development and internal security point of view, and sensing the heat from the LG’s administration, these very anti-nationals who remained experts in playing double roles were seen becoming temporary Indians to dodge the government again. In a shocking state of affairs, such anti-nationals, due to the weak intelligence setups, were also rewarded by the army authorities in Poonch and Rajouri as if they were staunch nationalists. Although the LG Manoj Sinha-led administration tried its best to deliver justice to the people’s doorsteps through initiating development, at the same time, a massive blow was given to the soldiers of the terror industry who used to dominate the affairs in every district of J&K. Peaceful and successful conduct of three-tier elections in J&K by the government changed the development scenario on the ground as powers were given to the locals to run local governance. In addition to developmental issues, the decades-old disease of anti-national separatist ideology backed by Pakistan in J&K started to be treated in a very strong manner by Lieutenant Governor of J&K Manoj Sinha, and after five years of his never-before-seen strong governance in the history of J&K, particularly on the internal security aspects, people have witnessed peace, although some occasional incidents of terror tried to create a narrative that J&K was still disturbed, but overall, LG Manoj Sinha has done a lot for J&K, fully backed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. LG Manoj Sinha, undoubtedly, has become the most powerful political personality in J&K ever, who took every anti-national force by storm. After the former Governor Late Jagmohan, who took some revolutionary decisions in J&K after the Kashmiri Pandits were murdered, tortured and thrown out of the valley by the anti-nationals backed by Pakistan, LG Manoj Sinha is truly the most powerful political personality ever seen in J&K, holding the office of the Lieutenant Governor of J&K, who took every challenge with a solid hand and beat all forces of the anti-national ecosystem with the full support of the country’s elite force, the J&K police, the mighty Indian Army and the intelligence agencies. Those who used to run the terror factories for decades with the political support in J&K never thought in their wildest dreams that a day would come when all their anti-national acts would be taken to their logical conclusions because the law of the land is supreme. The strict stance shown by LG Manoj Sinha against the terror ecosystem in J&K will bring his name in the history books as the most powerful political person in J&K who broke the spine of the terror ecosystem and its sympathisers in J&K. The other day, LG said that the era of rewarding separatists and torturing patriots has ended in J&K, but behind the scenes, such episodes of rewarding anti-national forces in the social, political and governmental setups are still going on. Patriots remained the targets of anti-national bureaucrats and political forces for standing with the national interest, and the same practice is still going on, as patriots are always treated badly by political people and bureaucrats who are known for following the separatist ideology silently. Some high-ranked bureaucrats who were close to the powerful chair of the LG secretariat were also seen working against the interest of the government on the ground while holding the office of DM and were also seen targeting nationalists openly. They never tolerated the emergence of nationalist sentiments and were seen encouraging a particular thought against the nation by rewarding them. During the parliamentary and assembly elections, they also worked against the directions of LG Manoj Sinha. Likewise, there were more bureaucrats who glorified terrorists as freedom fighters, and rather than giving them punishment, they were rewarded with ‘Malaidaar postings’ thanks to some officials of local intelligence agencies of police who also follow the same ideology and gave positive feedback about such tainted officers to ensure that the same anti-national ecosystem works without any tension in J&K. The terror ecosystem and its sympathisers are so deep that they still operate freely and implement their anti-national agenda on the ground, as many cases of land grabbing and illegal allotment of lands and other assets in every district of J&K have come into the notice of the government, and unfortunately, the same practice has been going on for the last forty years. The statement of LG Manoj Sinha that the era of rewarding separatists and torturing patriots is over is not 100% true, as this hidden exercise was still going on up to the time of filing this report. Illegal allotment of various private and government lands and assets to a particular thought for decades, huge land grabbing cases across the J&K UT with the full support of revenue department in favour of the same thought, capturing of river bodies and canals, silent support to the forces working against the national interest including in media, tainted bureaucrats who still work against the national interest, NGOs established under a planed strategy of anti-national forces to dodge everybody, presence of doubtful credentials people in various forms near the civil administration, police and army installations planted by anti-national forces to generate important inputs, huge funding to social media influencers to run narratives against the national interest and awards to anti-nationals are some issues which need immediate attention of the LG Manoj Sinha. If the ever-powerful man in J&K history, LG Manoj Sinha, has proved his mettle against the terror ecosystem on the ground, which was never expected in J&K, a similar war is needed from him against the remaining soldiers of anti-national brigades who have taken everything for granted, as LG Manoj Sinha enjoys the full support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, unlike former Governor, the late Jagmohan, who was not allowed to crush the anti-national ecosystem by the then weak union government. Although the LG’s administration faced some tough situations from the elected government and recently formed Sangarsh Samiti on the issue of admission of students from a particular community to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Medical College, in breaking the spine of the decades-old terror ecosystem in J&K, the LG, Manoj Sinha, deserves huge applause. If the remaining soldiers of anti-national sentiments across the nation, particularly in J&K, are not eliminated from their roots, then this lobby will raise its head again and will prove havoc for the nation. For breaking the spine of terror-ecosystem in J&K which was never dreamed by anybody and for teaching a lesson to once political strong forces in J&K that they are nothing when it comes to the national security and national interest, LG Manoj Sinha undoubtedly has become the most powerful man in the history of J&K who brought J&K on the path of peace, development, nationalist sentiments and by crushing the terror eco-system after the abrogation of temporary articles 370 and 35-A with the full support of the PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, J&K police(Former DGP Dilbagh Singh, R.R Swain and the incumbent DGP Nalin Prabhat and all ranks), Indian Army and coordinated approach of the intelligence agencies and the same war needs to remain continue in a more robust way to bring reaming soldiers of various anti-national brigades to justice.
