POONCH: The other day, Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi said that war with Pakistan can take place soon and appealed to the Indians to stay united to face the adversaries of the country in a likely decisive battle against Pakistan.
It is pertinent to mention here that India launched “Operation Sindoor” to avenge the Pahalgam attack in which 26 Indians were killed by the terrorist by asking their name. After that unfortunate terrorist attack, there was huge anger in the country, and understanding the sentiments of the nation, the Indian armed forces, fully backed by the Union Government led by PM Narendra Modi, carried out a big operation by hitting the terror infrastructure inside Pakistan and killed a number of terrorists in “Operation Sindoor.” Frustrated after witnessing India’s beyond-imagination response to Pahalgam, Pakistan started targeting the Poonch city badly, in which 13 innocent people, including three children, sacrificed their lives for the nation. The pain of suffering during “Operation Sindoor” is still in the psyche of Poonch people, but braving all odds, every Indian citizen is ready to stand with the nation and its forces in a likely decisive battle against the adversaries of the country. Reacting to the Indian Army chief’s statement, Pakistan’s Army Chief Asim Munir also threatened to destroy India’s infrastructure on the Indus water if the latter builds on it. The completely frustrated statement from Asim Munir about taking half of the world if he sees a threat to Pakistan’s existence is a strong indication that Asim Munir has already accepted defeat from the Indian armed forces, and that’s why in frustration he gave such an illogical statement, which needs a strong condemnation from the whole world. Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has also threatened India on Indus water issues. It’s a fact that the deep state of the USA, Pakistan, and all other anti-Indian countries are playing every move to destabilize the Indian government, so the chances of Pakistan scripting a big foul play against India backed by the deep state cannot be ruled out, so that could be the reason that, anticipating tough days ahead, the Indian Army Chief has cautioned the nation timely. It is important to mention here that after the emergence of Narendra Modi as India’s Prime Minister, huge steps were taken against the terrorism as the forces were given a free hand by the union government. Under the leadership of PM Modi, the country has progressed a lot and is being seen as a major global power in the making. But this truth is not being digested by the internal and external adversaries of India; this is the reason all-out efforts from different quarters, especially from the deep state of the USA, Pakistan, and a few other countries, have been going on to destabilize India by toppling the Modi government, which is unlikely. But the biggest factor that has been countering the moves of the enemy countries of India is that every single Indian citizen is ever ready to stand with the union government and Indian forces to give the enemies of India a strong lesson of the century. The Army’s Chief statement on a possible war with Pakistan needs not to be taken lightly by every Indian and needs advanced preparation to tackle any misadventure from Pakistan. It’s the moral duty of every Indian to stand with the security forces during the hours of crisis, as a united India can write history again after scripting big wins against Pakistan in the wars of 1965, 1971, the 1999 Kargil War, the Surgical Strike, and Operation Sindoor. However, it’s the huge responsibility of the district administration of Poonch and Rajouri to start advanced preparations for likely “Operation Sindoor” part II, as these two border districts are near to the LOC and have already faced massive shelling. In fact, the entire ‘Operation Sindoor’ was fought in Poonch, as said by a senior citizen. It was Poonch that suffered heavily due to the weak administrative approach, and the same mistake needs not to be repeated, so the onus lies on the civil administration, police, and army in the Poonch and Rajouri districts to prepare in advance by informing the public about do’s and don’ts during any misadventure from Pakistan. It’s a testing time for Deputy Commissioners, SSPs, and Army Commanders posted in the Rajouri-Poonch range not to repeat the mistakes of “Operation Sindoor,” which was conducted in May 2025, and they need to start an advance exercise to guide the civilians on various war issues, as the enemy nation Pakistan and its support structures, wherever they are operating, need a befitting retribution of the century.
