POONCH: A warm welcome was given to the Sh Budha Amarnath yatris by Journalists Association Poonch and Press Club Poonch. Led by its president, S. Randhir Singh, the journalists association members expressed hope that the yatra would give a message of peace, communal harmony, and brotherhood.

Similarly, the members of the press club Poonch, represented by its senior journalist and cashier J.B. Singh, welcomed the yatra with open hands and assured full support of the Press Club Poonch to all the yatris in case of any emergency. Both the Journalists Association and Press Club Poonch assured full support to the district administration and police in ensuring a peaceful and successful yatra and to spread the message of peace and communal harmony throughout the country.
