POONCH/NEW DELHI: The ongoing multi-domain tri-services military exercise, issuance of various NOTAMs, and tough statements from the Prime Minister, Home Minister, Defence Minister and top army brass after the New Delhi blast are a clear-cut indication that India has planned something big against all its enemies.
The other day, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh appealed to the Indians to stay mentally alert for the future. After the Red Fort blast, the intelligence agencies have cracked the biggest-ever white-collar doctors’ terror module with the recovery of more than 3,000 kg of explosive materials. The arrested module after investigation have accepted that they were on a big mission to launch multiple car blasts in the various Indian cities. Had the intelligence agencies failed to capture any of them, India would have witnessed the biggest tragedy of all time? The exposure of sensational claims from the arrested terrorists led to large-scale raids across some states linked to this white-collar doctors’ terror module, and this development has shocked the entire nation. These are clear-cut indications that Pakistan and its supporters in various forms had planned something big in India to disrupt the peace and stability. The statement of former CDS Late Gen Bipin Rawat proved quite true that India should be ready to fight on two and a half fronts, with the half front being the most dangerous. Lieutenant General Devendra Pandey (Retd) the other day also said that internal threats in India need to be addressed by the government. Such a statement from a retired top army officer shows that the nation has realised that internal threats are more dangerous than the external threats for which an all-out strategy is needed from the government. He said that the internal enemy is difficult to identify, and it’s a big national security concern. After the exposure of the white-collar doctors’ terror module, the government seems to have planned something big across all domains, but the biggest strength of the government is that nothing comes out unless the government implements the plans on the ground. High-level meetings between the president, prime minister, home minister, defence minister, NSA Ajit Doval and foreign minister S. Jai Shanker are enough to indicate that India is ready to teach Pakistan and other enemies a lesson of lifetimes, but the biggest threat in implementing the government agenda on the ground is from the internal enemies who are ever ready to disturb the nation on various illogical pretexts. Although the government is aware of every aspect of the internal and external security scenario, and accordingly appropriate strategies have already been formulated to address all issues, if sources close to “POONCH TODAY” in the corridors of power are to be believed. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is a seasoned politician, and his every word means something is cooking in the government which is not visible to most of the people because it’s a national security concern. If the defence minister has cautioned the people to stay mentally alert, then it means that the nation is all set to witness some big response against all the enemies of the Bharat.
