Poonch Police seizes shop for violation of Lockdown rules

POONCH: Poonch Police today seized a shop in the main bazaar Poonch for violation of  lockdown rules.

It is pertinent to mention here that district administration, the other day, announced relaxation for few business institutions for limited hours, but few business establishments not in the announced list of administration tried to open their shop and this forced the police authorities to take prompt action against the violators. A Police party led Dy.SP HQRS Mudassar Hussain took action and seizes the shop. This action of Police has given a tough warning to all shopkeepers not to repeat this mistake again. PM Narendra Modi, time and again, appealed to the people of the country that fighting the battle against COVID-19 is the responsibility of all citizens. He also appealed the people to cooperate with administration and Police in ensuring total lockdown. But, during the last few days, there were reports that few shopkeepers were violating the rules and on this, Police today, took strong action in main bazaar and seized the shop. SHO Police station Poonch, Nishant Gupta also advised the people to follow the lockdown rules, else strict action would be taken against the violators.
