Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Observed at DPL Poonch

POONCH: District Police Poonch observed Rashtriya Ekta Diwas at District Police Lines (DPL) Poonch to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India and the architect of national integration.

On this occasion, Shafket Hussain, JKPS, Senior Superintendent of Police Poonch administered the Unity Pledge to all officers and jawans, reaffirming their commitment to uphold and strengthen the unity, integrity, and security of the nation. The event witnessed the participation of senior police officers including  Mohan Lal Sharma, JKPS, Additional SP Poonch; Neeraj Sharma, DySP Headquarters Poonch; and Surinder Singh, DySP Surankote, along with other gazetted officers and a large number of police personnel. A special parade was also organised on the occasion, reflecting the discipline, dedication, and professional excellence of the District Police. The contingents presented a smart turnout and saluted the spirit of unity and national integration envisioned by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Speaking on the occasion, SSP Poonch highlighted the historic role of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in uniting the nation and emphasized the importance of preserving harmony and national solidarity. He urged all ranks of the police force to work with sincerity, commitment, and unity of purpose for maintaining peace and security in the district. District Police Poonch reaffirmed its unwavering dedication to the ideals of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, pledging continued efforts to strengthen the bond of unity and brotherhood among citizens.
