Top security installation’s visionless decisions lower the morale of nationalist forces in the district; Anti-nationals always encouraged by the Poonch administration

POONCH: A heated debate has started at different locations of the Poonch district over the visionless approach adopted by a top security installation in the district by projecting tainted forces against the nation in good terms with a kind of award. Those high-ranked officers who were known in Poonch for their lack of intelligence and weakness and proved to be the weakest officers in Poonch history during Operation Sindoor were seen recognising those who had no contribution on the ground, other than dodging the security installation for their personal interest. It is pertinent to mention here that the people of Poonch are considered nationalists who have played their big role during three wars with Pakistan and against terrorism with iron hands, but the nationalist sentiments were seen crushed by the visionless decisions of the top security installation of the district, where tainted forces against the nation were recognised. These were the same forces who called for a complete bandh in Poonch town and took out a procession in support of a terrorist who was killed by the security forces in July 2016. In addition to this, their track record against the national concern for years was fully recorded in the books of top intelligence agencies of the country, but it’s really shocking that those forces were given prestigious awards. It’s a practice in Poonch that the district administration has always been seen encouraging the anti-nationals and other tainted forces for various awards who have done nothing other than their false projections through some paid sycophants cum so-called civil society members who are always ready to sell their inner conscience for their personal monetary benefits, as these opportunist people have always been seen misguiding the civil administration, police, and army installations by projecting anti-nationals as responsible persons of the society. A few years ago, a former deputy commissioner, who was accused of brazen corruption and had a negative image, had also recommended the names of some tainted forces for various awards. He was the same deputy commissioner who used to target nationalist forces openly in the district, but later, for his corrupt and other practices, he was given the cold shoulder by the government. Likewise, some police officers were also seen encouraging the anti-nationals in the district, but the recent episode in which a top officer from a reputed security installation of the district, which is often held in high esteem by the people of Poonch, was seen honouring some tainted forces against the nation has shaken the inner conscience of the nationalist forces in the district. It’s a complete indication that the government of India has posted some imprudent officers in the district who failed to distinguish between nationalist and anti-national forces. From such incidents of total foolishness on the part of a top security installation, one could imagine the state of internal security concerns in the district for which a high-level inquiry needs to be initiated against the said high-ranked officer who was involved in such an act of complete thoughtlessness. There is a general impression in the district that if the civil administration, police and top security installations of the district continue to support anti-nationals, then it would have a huge impact on the nationalist sentiments in the district. Meanwhile, a high-level inquiry is needed from the government of India against those officers who were accused of introducing the concept of encouraging people who had a decades-old history of working against the national interest in their various capacities.
