JAMMU: Those running the terror industry in J&K for several decades never anticipated in their dreams that one day all those employees who remained habitual of remaining part and parcel of the terror industry while in government service would be taken to task through termination of their government services.

Anti-nationals find LG Manoj Sinha too hot to handle, as the LG has launched an all-round attack on the anti-national forces in the government sector, and by this act, LG Sinha has set a big example for the entire country by terminating 80 employees during the last four years after the formation of a special committee to look into the credentials of government employees who remained involved in anti-India activities. After carefully scrutinizing each and every case with the help of top intelligence agencies of the nation, a huge number of government employees have been terminated, in which a Dy.SP rank officer and a Naib tehsildar, among others, were found to be involved in terror activities. This exercise of terminating government employees by LG Manoj Sinha has given a huge setback to the cadre of the terror industry that was operating in J&K without any fear of law and also got huge support from their political bosses for years. Such employees who took everything for granted by running their terror activities while in government services have been paid back in the same coin by LG Manoj Sinha. This straightforward attack from LG Manoj Sinha against anti-nationals has set a new benchmark for his administration with a clear message that nobody in the government sector will be tolerated for working against the interest of the nation. Although the exercise started by LG Manoj Sinha has received huge applause during the last few years from the nationalist people in J&K, it would be better if the same exercise were extended at the bureaucratic level in J&K, as many top officers were also found to be involved in supporting a particular ideology against the nation. Unfortunately, some bureaucrats were also seen branding terrorists as freedom fighters, and it’s a clear indication that LG’s Swachh Bharat mission should be started at a higher level too because there should be no mercy against anti-nationals wherever they are. Those big minds from the top intelligence agencies of the nation who are part and parcel of this initiative of LG Manoj Sinha need to bring in bureaucrats and other top officers having doubtful credentials against the nation under their radar, as this ongoing drive against small fishes should be extended to big fishes also, as the anti-nationals in the government sector, no matter which positions they are in, must be given a befitting retribution for their anti-national acts, including supporting the terror ecosystem.  On the other hand, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has said that courts must decide the termination of employees, and employees should not be terminated merely on the basis of suspicion. He said that every government employee deserves an opportunity to be heard, as in the past, many employees were given the green signal because nothing was found against them. But right now, LG Manoj Sinha has an upper hand over Chief Minister Omar Abdullah because LG Sinha is looking after law and order issues.
