Women of India are Part and Parcel of Nations Growth & Development : Vibodh

RAJOURI: BJP J&K General Secretary and Former MLC Vibodh Gupta accompanied by President MC Rajouri Mohd. Arif and BJP district president Rajinder Gupta today called for the active participation of women in growth and development. Vibodh made these remarks while inaugurating the Natural Beauty Saloon near University Morh at Rajouri. This new business establishment is owned by Manisha Kumari.

This new beauty parlour is exclusively being run by the women staff.  In his address to the gathering after the inauguration of the Natural Beauty Saloon, Vibodh said that our women today are the leaders of new India. He also highlighted the fact that presently women occupy the central stage in all the developmental policies and programmes of the Government. This he said is because of the farsightedness and vision of PM Modi. This is also the main reason that women have benefited most from PM Modi’s schemes. Giving some figures related to women empowerment in India, Vibodh said that out of 42 Crore Jan Dhan Bank accounts 55 percent are women account holders.   While making remarks about the participation of women in the cabinet of PM Modi, Vibodh informed that today out of 78 ministers in the union cabinet, 11 are women. This he said is the highest no. of women in the union council of ministers in the last 17 years. He also highlighted the fact that today women Self Help Groups (SHG’s) across the country have served the nation during the COVID-19 Pandemic by producing masks and sanitisers and creating massive awareness about the preventive measures to be taken by all. Vibodh also threw light on the reservations which women get in local level democratic institutions like Urban Local Bodies, Panchayats and District Development Councils. President MC Rajouri Mohd. Arif in his address congratulated the owner of the beauty parlour for opening this new business venture at a strategic location. He further added that this will also encourage other women of the area to come up with their own business ventures. In his address, BJP District President Rajinder Gupta said that today we all must understand and support PM Modi led women development model which provides equal opportunities to all the women of this country. He said such ventures besides creating employment opportunities for others also go a long way in creating a self-reliant society. Prominent among others who were present on the occasion included Kamal Bakshi, Ranjit Tara, Shahid Bhat, Raja Rattan, Koushal Gupta, Ashwani Kochar, Mamta Dutt, Yougesh Sharma, Kush Sharma, Nitin Kumar, Sanjay Sharma and Rajan Singh.
