It’s political spying! Congress leaders planted close workers in BJP to get their works done

POONCH/JAMMU: Everything is fair in politics, and nobody does it better than Congress.

The country’s old political party remained in power at maximum times, and some of its leaders cannot digest it being out of power. A few high-profile Congress leaders, with the purpose of spying BJP, have directed their female and some other important workers to be active members of the BJP and to play their role in getting their work done through different channels and also to leak the internal politics of the BJP to them. These Congress leaders, who are known for grinding their own axes when in power, have now shifted their stance, feeling powerless. After the emergence of J&K as a UT, these leaders are finding it hard to approach different platforms of administrative machinery to get their workers’ issues solved. Few such female and other Congress workers have become so astute that they have managed to form important links in the corridors of power. Even high-ranking retired and in-service police officers have come in their contact, and they are using these links very strategically for different purposes as per the directions of their mentors sitting in Congress camp. A few workers of Congress who have in fact joined the BJP are leaking every bit of information about the BJP to their masters in Congress. In front of the BJP leadership, they are projecting themselves as true patriots, but behind the scenes, they are using their links to get their various works done in favour of these powerless Congress leaders. A few of these workers have not-so-good credentials and were also seen attending important dignitaries and top security officials, thereby mocking the security arrangements internally. Some powerful Congress leaders in the Jammu region are playing very strategically through these workers. Feeling powerless from all corners, now they have found a new strategy to place their men and machinery in the BJP’s camp and also in the fourth estate to put pressure on the administrative and political machinery of the BJP to get their works done by any means. Some people from the other opposition parties in J&K and a few others with questionable credentials across the spectrum are also seen supporting these Congress workers for their personal interest in meeting the top BJP leadership for various purposes. It’s high time for the BJP camp in J&K to counter this tactful move of some Congressmen and other leaders of Jammu province; else, more leakage of information may prove fatal for the saffron brigade going by the Rajouri episode, where an alleged BJPs party worker later found out to be a terrorist.
