“Besharm” political leaders remained tight-lipped over supreme sacrifice of soldiers in Anantnag encounter

POONCH: The other day, two Army officers and one Dysp of J&K Police sacrificed their lives for the nation in the Anantnag encounter, and people from every section of society condemned Pakistan and its sponsored terrorism. Reports of more causality were coming up at the time of filing this report.

However, the “Besharm” leaders and silent hurriyat ideology’s lovers preferred to remain silent because it seems that this unfortunate incident never suited their political gains. Even in the twin border districts of Poonch and Rajouri, some visionless leaders, who are only known for their useless protests to catch their voters, also remained tight-lipped over this big tragedy. Their silence is a complete indication that they have nothing to do with national security; they love only to play vote-bank politics. The sacrifice of Army and J&K police officials for the nation is nothing to them, but they love to shout only on useless issues. Many times, such “Behsharm” leaders with doubtful credentials branded themselves Indians, but they never proved this in their conduct for years. On any sensitive issue, they used to come out of their burrows and were seen lodging different types of protests for their political mileage, even at the cost of disturbing law and order, but these unabashed leaders were never seen standing with the national interest. The majority of them never gave any anti-militancy, anti-Pakistan, anti-hurriyat, or anti-stone-pelting statements, but, yes, they gave only useless statements, and this clearly shows their state of mindset against the nation, which seems alarming. If such leaders have no regard for the supreme sacrifice of Army and police officers for the nation and prefer to toe the line, which is not in the national interest, then it’s high time these leaders are brought to justice for playing a double standard with the nation. These leaders were seen shouting like animals on any baseless issues but were never seen standing with the nation and the security forces. The supreme sacrifice of Colonel Manpreet Singh, CO 19 RR; Major Ashish Dhonack; Dy.SP Humayun Bhat; and RFLM Ravi Kumar has shattered the emotions of every countryman, but these “Besharm” political leaders preferred to remain silent, and it’s really an unfortunate gesture on their part.
