The program was organized by SHO Poonch Inspector Deepak Pathania under the supervision of SSP Poonch, Vinay Sharma. The principal of the school, students, and staff members attended the awareness program and lauded the efforts of Poonch police. Various speakers spoke on the occasion and shed light on the rising drug mafia, which has threatened the lives of youngsters. Speaking on the occasion, SHO Poonch Deepak Pathania said that Pakistan was trying hard to disturb the peaceful atmosphere of the country by lodging a proxy war that has been going on for years, and drug terrorism is a part of this policy to destroy the careers of youngsters. SHO Poonch gave a detailed history of Pakistan’s policy of “thousand cuts” against India. He exhorted the students not to fall prey to the tactics of anti-social and anti-national elements. He said that the police have been trying hard to eliminate this menace and also seek the cooperation of students and civil society.
