POONCH: Government boys higher secondary school has lost its sheen over the years due to puny  management as few staff members who are overstayed have made this school as their personal property. These arrogant staff member have spoiled the education scenario of the school as they believe in tuition culture and favour those children’s who are their regular tuition customers. Moreover, poor management on tackling various issues is clearly visible as huge sums of rupees were provided to this school,  but their utilization on the ground has remained a big puzzle. Few sports and other  items were purchased on very high rates and it shows that commission culture remained the top priority of those involved in the whole process. Brazen mismanagement of funds in all the activities of the school related to students remained a common scene.   From the last six years, the school got huge funds, but their full utilization on the ground has remained a big mystery. On the academic side, result remained poor over the years and it has raised a question mark on the staff members who are enjoying their over stay due to their links, least bothering about their academics output, thus playing with the future of the students. The school lacks visionary minds and in most cases, arrogance has the final say. Recently, government blessed the school with International standard Hockey Astroturf, but few staff members were reportedly criticized government policies and played their wrong role against the government policy of promoting sports and  its shocking that government employees are standing against government’s developmental policy.  A prominent citizen of Poonch, pleading anonymity, said, “This school needs visionary staff and better polices for the future generations. Government should shunt out overstayed staff who consider this school  as their personal property and are proving as a  liability on the education scenario. The school is really going through a terrible phase.” added “A deep inquiry is needed to look into the issue of overstayed staff and allotment of various funds to school and their further expenditure on the ground to bring real facts in public domain. Those employees of the school who are standing against the government developmental  policies need to be shunted out in the best interest of education of and  overall development of the future generations.”
