CMO Dr Mumtaz Bhatti  accorded warm farewell

POONCH: Chief Medical Officer Poonch, Dr Mumtaz Bhatti  was accorded a warm send off here at a function organized by the Health department.

The officers and officials of the department appreciated the dedicated services of Dr Mumtaz Bhatti and wished him a happy and healthy post retirement life. During his 33-year long service career, Dr Mumtaz Bhatti worked in various capacities and gained lot of experience. He held important positions including BMO, Medical Superintendent and CMO and remained accessible to people during odd hours also.  Dr Mumtaz Bhatti remained CMO of Poonch district twice. He also remained CMO Shopian. Hundreds of people from different fields congratulated him on his retirement. On reaching his home town Mendhar. Dr Bhatti was warmly welcomed by people from every section of the society. People described Dr Bhatti as a very cooperative office. Renowned Anchor Pardeep Khanna, said, “People will miss him as he brought major reforms as far as development issues of health sector is concerned. He remained available to people 24×7  and now, it would be a challenging task for new CMO to match the high standard of public delivery  set by Dr Mumtaz Bhatti.” Advocate Sanjay Raina, said, “His tenure as CMO will be remembered for long and I wish him best of luck for his future post retirement life”
