DDC, SSP Poonch flag off Bus carrying 25 people with kin’s ashes for Haridwar

POONCH: Due to nation wide lockdown, 16 families, who lost their loved ones were unable to reach Haridwar to immerse the ashes, but after lifting of restriction, Sanatan Dharam Sabha and District administration today flagged off bus carrying 25 people with ashes of 16 people who oust their lives during lockdown.

The bus was flagged off by DDC Poonch Rahul Yadav and SSP Poonch Ramesh Angral in presence of Satish Sasan, Pardhan S.D Sabha Poonch. Large number of people were present on the occasion. After performing the rituals at Haridwar, the bus carrying 25 people will come back after two days. Before flagging off the bus, DDC Ponch and SSP Poonch also interacted with the people in bus and assured full support of administration during the journey. Satish Sasan, Pardhan S.D Sabha said, “With the support of district administration, S.D Sabha Poonch has managed this special bus and people, who lost their loved one now would be able to perform their rituals at Haridwar”
