RAJOURI: The District level Task Force Committee today discussed the modalities for the fixation of minor mineral at its meeting chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sher Singh. The meeting was attended by Executive Engineer PWD, Mohammad Zubair; Executive Engineer I&FC Rajouri, Sageer Malik; Divisional Forest Officer Rajouri, Sanjay Saraf; Divisional Forest Officer Nowshera, Suresh Manda; District Mineral Officer, Dr.JS Pawar and Divisional Pollution Officer, Bader Hussain. The Crusher Owners were also present in the meeting. The meeting underlined the need for the fixation of rates of sand, crushed Bajri(10MM to 40 MM)crushed Bajri(40 MM to 65 MM), crusher dust, Nallah Bajri, Nallah Boulder and GSB to ensure that the public does not suffer due to overcharging. The ADC directed the concerned to conduct a detailed market survey and come up with a report before the finalization of the rate for the construction material of different category.
