The BJP completely ignored its parent cadre and allowed the entry of a large number of people with questionable integrity. Some leaders who backstabbed their parent political parties also joined the BJP, and they are now exposed badly. The BJP leadership tried its best to please the voters of the Gujjar and Pahari tribes, and accordingly, many decisions were taken that fulfilled the decades-old demands of both communities but, in return, got nothing concrete. Many tainted people with anti-national credentials were also contacted by the BJP just for vote bank politics, and the saffron party was expecting their support, but when the results came, everything was exposed. The top brass of the BJP adopted many questionable policies for votes, which had a big impact on the nationalist forces. Even in the Nowshera constituency of Ravinder Raina, the BJP stood in second place, and it’s a big concern for the saffron brigade. Why did the common man start to stay away from the policies of the J&K BJP? The BJP was considered a disciplined party with a nationalist frame of mind, but some decisions of the J&K BJP surprised one and all as people with anti-national backgrounds were seen sharing the stage with top BJP leaders. Even those tainted forces who are involved in hawala funding were approached by the BJP leaders for votes, and this also raised a big question mark on the decisions of the BJP leadership. Are votes more important than national security for the BJP leaders? Allowing parachute turncoat leaders, leaders with anti-national backgrounds, and those involved in land grabbing frauds and illegal construction mafia’s were taken on board by the BJP, and what the BJP got in return is in front of all. In an attempt to please all factions of society who gave the BJP nothing, the BJP lost its traditional vote bank in the run. In Jammu and Udhampur parliamentary constituencies, the victory margin of BJP candidates has come down, which is again a signal that the people of Jammu are not happy with some policies of the BJP. The BJP also did one big blunder with the people of Poonch and Rajouri, and that was to join Poonch and Rajouri with Anantnag to create a new parliamentary constituency. This decision of the BJP has given a big jolt to the nationalist people, who are considered the traditional vote bank of the BJP. What did the BJP get after creating this new parliamentary constituency? This visionless decision, among many others, shows that J&K BJP top brass has committed various blunders by using the word “Master stroke”, even keeping national security at bay by allowing questionable credentialed people into the party’s fold. It’s an alarming sign for the J&K BJP, which is preparing itself for the coming assembly elections. Would the party be able to rectify previous mistakes or continue to sail in the same boat of visionless decisions? It also shows that all the experiments of the J&K BJP have failed, as the trust of Gujjars and Paharis for anti-BJP parties proved heavy over the developmental policies of the BJP. But one thing is completely sure again about the coming assembly elections, and that is “Vote Phir Nahi Milne, Kuch bhi kar loo,” because the result of the recent parliament elections has exposed one and all, including parachute BJP leaders.
