RAJOURI, APRIL 09: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Rajesh K Shavan today chaired a meeting of the concerned officers, traders and the representative of the religious organizations to discuss the arrangements for Navratri and Ramadan. Among the others, SSP, Sheema Qasba Nabi; ADC, Sher Singh; ACR, Mohammad Ashraf; CHO, Madan Lal; CMO, Dr Shamim Un Nissa Bhatti; Tehsildar Rajouri, Mohd Rafeeq; DHO, Dr Parveen Yograj; DSHO, Dr Sarfraz Naseem Chowdhury; ExEn Jal Shakti Rajouri, Mushtaq Ahmed; ExEn PDD Rajouri, AD FCS&CA besides the other concerned officers, representatives from the religious organizations and the traders also attended the meeting. Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned Executive Engineers of the Jal Shakti and PDD to ensure uninterrupted water and power supply to the common masses during the scheduled days. He also directed the Health Department to keep available all the essential Medicare services on for the convenience of the general public and maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all the health institutions.
The FCS&CA department was asked to conduct market inspections regularly to check hoarding, black-marketing overpricing of the essential commodities during the auspicious days. The Executive Officers MCs were asked to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the towns of their respective jurisdictions. They were asked to conduct sanitation drive for one month, particularly around the religious places. Block Development Officers were asked to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the rural areas of their respective jurisdictions.The concerned officer from the Fire services department was directed to keep available the fire tenders to meet out any eventuality. Deputy Commissioner appealed to the general public to celebrate the holy festival by observing COVID19 protocols to avoid the risk of Corona Virus infection.
