MLA Haveli Ajaz Jan reviews progress of Jal Jeevan Mission schemes

POONCH: Member Legislative Assembly Constituency Haveli-Poonch Aijaz Ahmed Jan, the other day, chaired a meeting with Officers and Functionaries to review progress of ongoing Jal Jeevan Mission projects of Haveli Constituency, here at Conference Hall of Dak Banglow.

The concerned officers briefed the chair regarding scheme wise activities and initiatives being undertaken of ongoing JJM schemes in Haveli Constituency. During the meeting, MLA took an in-depth review and raised various issues pertaining to the various ongoing projects and pending works of different schemes.  Highlighting the significance of the Jal Jeevan Mission, the MLA impressed upon the officers to maintain the highest level of transparency and accountability in the implementation process of the schemes. The MLA asked officers from concerned departments to share insights on operational challenges and suggest ways to enhance project implementation and service delivery for the welfare of the general public. He stressed that improvements in the Mission were critical for the welfare of the residents and directed the concerned departments to take immediate action where necessary.

Earlier, District Development Commissioner, Vikas Kundal, in his inaugural speech, reaffirmed that the District administration’s commitment is fundamental to effective execution of the Jal Jeevan Mission and providing essential services to every citizen of the district. The meeting was attended by Superintending Engineer JJM, XEN JJM, CPO, DFO, XEN PDD, XEN Irrigation and other concerned officers and officials.
