Is Power department harassing  people with night hours power cut? Playing with security of people

POONCH: When the state is going through tested times on recent political developments on Art 370 and 35 A, PDD Poonch seems to have adopted a negative way of harassing people with its  unscheduled night hours power curtailment in Poonch city,   thereby putting the security of people of city at risk. From the last one month, city is mostly  witnessing power cuts in between  10 pm to 12 pm and this has become a routine forcing the people to suffer from this attitude of PDD Poonch. It is an established fact that crime of any kind always take place during dark hours when wrong elements use advantage of gloomy during night hours. As Poonch is also sensitive from cross border terrorism and other related threats, so city requires an uninterrupted power supply during night hours, but alas, no body in the district administration, even Police  is ready to look at this security aspect  which could prove fatal going by the ongoing circumstances, if not addressed earlier. A prominent citizens of Poonch, pleading anonymity, said, “ Enforcing night hours power cuts seems to be a conspiracy of PDD Poonch and surprisingly fact is that such an attitude of PDD has announced its arrival in August only after recent political developments in the state” added “PDD is playing with the security of the people and government needs to address this security aspect as power supply is necessary during night hours to prevent any unfortunate incident”
