POONCH TODAY NEWS

POONCH: Although it’s shocking, but it’s true that those people who have indulged in illegal constructions in “Flood Zone” have been approaching BDO  office Poonch for issuance of “NOC” at any cost and even putting him under huge pressure of all kinds. Disgracefully, even a top officer of administration reportedly, gave many calls to BDO for the issuance of NOC to few people, but, BDO did not indulge in any foul play and demanded a written order from that top official.  It shows that how those people, who have captured state lands illegally, are doing everything to get their constructions legalized. Sources in BDO office told “POONCH TODAY” that BDO is getting repeated pressures from all corners, but he is not buckling under the pressure of those forces. It’s a biggest question mark as how in village Kanuyian and within the municipal limits of Poonch, such a large number of illegal constructions have taken place and silence on part of administration shows that “Iss hamam mein sab nange hain”. The biggest shocking factor in this story is that a top officer of administration directed BDO telephonically to issue NOC in favour of some persons. A former Engineer also admitted that government officers cannot do anything as influential persons are more powerful than the law and if such things are true then it shows that there is horrible state of affairs of Poonch administration and government needs to intervene to restore people’s faith in the institution of governance.
