POONCH TODAY NEWS

POONCH: Having dubious character and already under the radar of various agencies for a number of doubtful works, some government employees are running various societies and NGO’s and ignore their official duties. These reportedly paid sycophants of various agencies are working under a hidden plan to become so-called “Prominent Citizens” of society but behind the curtains, their social value stands nowhere because of their behind the curtains questionable acts over the years. They are already under the scanner for spending funds without a known source of income. Some of the societies are already under the radar of security agencies for their involvement in un-parliamentary acts on the name of NGO. These sycophants have only one agenda and that is to get the attention of top chairs for seeking personal benefits. Even some civil, police and army officers were easily hoodwinked by these NGOs members who project themselves as ultimate think tanks. Some government officials, who are running these societies based on spiritual identities, are even seen criticizing government policies as if they belong to a high profile political class. These government employees never do their government duties and prefer to spend their official time in the activities of NGO’s and societies. In social setups, these people are always taken lightly because of less moral value they have. Behind the curtains, their activities always remained doubtful. Some societies reportedly have financial links with few groups outside the country which are already working against national interest and security agencies need to put them under scanner as one single mistake could prove disastrous for the future. Locals of Poonch have questioned the role of some NGO’s who are being run by government employees for openly criticizing government policies. Earlier, an effort was made from the civil society of Jammu  to request the government to ban all NGO’s/Societies being run by government employees who are doing nothing rather than cheating the government by getting huge money in the name of various works. In Poonch, it’s a common scene that various government employees on the name of various societies are trying to become “Self styled prominent citizens” but at the same time, ignore government duties and project themselves as so-called “Think Tanks” of society for criticizing the government. Government employees running NGOs with doubtful agenda have not been taken to task by the government yet and it’s a big security concern for the future.
