POONCH TODAY NEWS

POONCH: Famous Bollywood director Vivek Agnihotri has become the first director who collected guts and made a movie on the Kashmiri Pandits genocide.

“The Kashmir files” which hit the theatres all over the country a few days back has received a tremendous response where people were seen crying while coming out of theatres. In many videos which went viral on social media platforms, people were seen hugging and crying in front of Vivek Agnihotri and his wife Pallavi Joshi. Many Kashmiri Pandits after seeing the “The Kashmir Files” told “POONCH TODAY” that the government should give Bharat Ratna award to Vivek Agnihotri who has shown courage in making movies on issues of national importance. They said, “Earlier, Vivek ji made “The Tashkent files”. Now, he has produced a very big movie and it will give a real picture of the Kashmir Pandits genocide to the whole world by exposing the real face of Jihadis.” They further said that it was shocking to see the majority of Bollywood celebrities have maintained silence on this movie, because Bollywood is totally under the grip of the underworld.  A visible upset Pran Nath Koul, while coming out of theater in Jammu, told “POONCH TODAY”, “Bollywood directors made movies on terrorists Dawood Ibrahim, Tipu Sultan, and other goons mindset people, but no effort was made to make a movie on Kashmir Pandits genocide and we are grateful to Vivek Agnihotri Ji. He is our God who understood our pain and made this historic movie” added “I was 33 years old when the mass genocide took place. We were helpless and were living in a state of extreme shock. All valley based political parties, our neighbors and the then union government betrayed us and it seems all were hand in glove with jihadi forces who were responsible for the killings of Kashmir Pandits and their mass exodus.” Likewise, many Kashmir Pandits, pleading anonymity, expressed the same feeling and demanded in one voice that the Union government should give “Bharat Ratna” award to Vivek Agnihotri for making movies on the Kashmiri Pandits genocide. They also showered full praise on famous Actor Anupam Kher who played a tremendous role depicting real pain of Kashmiri Pandits.
